Biography
I have lived in London for over 25 years and I grew up in Chicago. My work for editorial, corporate, NGO and PR clients has taken me throughout the world. I began my career in photojournalism and editorial work to find out more about the world and bring it to others. Photography and video allow me to see and experience the world differently, working on topics that are challenging and important to me. The work satisfies my curiosity about the stories and subjects of my personal and commissioned assignments. In my long-term projects I am committed to a close involvement with issues and subjects in order to not just describe the world but to try and clarify it.
My work has been featured in The Sunday Times Magazine, The Washington Post, The London Telegraph and New Scientist Magazine and my travel work has been published in several books. I’m represented by Panos Pictures.
